Inspiring Angel Lore Through History
Today’s guest blogger is Angels on Earth Staff Editor Meg Belviso.
People consider me an angels expert—after all, I work on stories about angels all day long. And it’s true, I do feel like I’ve got a pretty good idea about just how busy angels are in the modern world. I’ve talked to so many people about encounters they’ve had—on the highway, at the beach, in a grocery store—that I don’t think as much about angels in history.
That’s probably why I enjoy our Illuminating Angels videos so much. Each one gives an overview of just one aspect of angel lore. One video looks at famous angel appearances in dreams. Another focuses on the Last Judgment. There’s a video dedicated to each of the Archangels as well.
But maybe the best part of Illuminating Angels is the artwork. The videos include incredible paintings, many of which I’ve never seen before. And people call me an expert.
If you have a few minutes to spare, I definitely recommend enjoying one or two yourself. I also happen to know we’ll be adding more, so check back for updates. You’d be amazed how a little “illumination” can brighten your day!
