Solitary Prayer
Very early in the morning, while it was still
dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went
off to a solitary place, where he prayed.—Mark 1:35 NIV
This Scripture shows the importance of having
private prayer time. Jesus retreated to a solitary place.
Follow His example and intentionally go off to a quiet
place for prayer. Know that God wants to spend time
with you, to give you the gift of His perspective on the
issues that will face you today.
Today's Prayer:
Heavenly Father, our time today starts with a quiet place
where we can be alone.
