Looking diligently lest any man fail
of the grace of God; lest any root
of bitterness springing up trouble
you, and thereby many be defiled.—Hebrews 12:15 (KJV)
In Isaiah 38:15, King Hezekiah wrote: “I will wander my
whole life with a bitter spirit.” Yet when Hezekiah called
out to God, his bitterness is exchanged for wholeness.
When your mood needs improving, look to the Lord and
Lord, when I become consumed with bitterness, I will call
out to You and trade it in, for the wholeness of Your grace.
