Look Forward Not Back

Look Forward Not Back

A smiling young woman stands on the banks of a river

Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV)

Memories are great places to visit, but don’t dwell there. Instead, heed the Apostle Paul’s advice in the above verse. Growing and aging each day is one of God’s greatest gifts. Thank Him for every new day—and then get on with the work that lies ahead.

Today's Prayer:

Heavenly Father, help me make the most of every day of my life.
