Guideposts Foundation – Catherine Halkett

Catherine Halkett currently serves as President of the Guideposts Foundation with oversight of Major Gifts, Annual Giving, Planned Giving and all philanthropy programs to support the outreach efforts and mission of the organization.

Catherine holds a Master of Public Health in International Health from New York Medical College and a B.S. degree from the University of Connecticut. Before joining Guideposts in 2017, Catherine served as Associate Director of Philanthropy Westchester/Hudson Valley for The Nature Conservancy and Director of Alumni Relations and Centennial Coordinator at Canterbury School. Catherine also served as President of the Danbury Hospital Development Fund/New Milford Hospital Foundation within Western Connecticut Health Network, overseeing all fundraising activities and functions for each hospital. During a long tenure at New York Medical College, Catherine served as Vice President for University Development, as well as Vice President for University Planning and Institutional Research overseeing the fundraising infrastructure, alumni relations, strategic and facilities planning and reengineering activities. Prior to joining the College, Catherine served as Assistant Director, Field Director and Operations Manager for International Alliance for Children-Philippines, Inc.
