More than a year after losing their dog during Superstorm Sandy, they were ready to move on.
Great story from the SPCA in Monmouth County, New Jersey (which happens to be where I grew up):
“We don't know this for a fact, but we believe what happened is that when the dog was originally lost after the hurricane, somebody found him and took him in and didn't bring him into a shelter,” MCSPCA employee Liz Wise told Yahoo! News. “Then he got out again and one of our employees found him and brought him in.”
Sounds like a dog that knew when to leave, and where to go, to find his pet parents.
