Another movie based on a true story, Lion follows the story of Saroo, a young Indian boy who gets separated from his family and lives on the streets of India before being adopted by an Australian couple. As an adult (played by Dev Patel), Saroo is haunted by memories of the home and family left behind. With the blessing of his adoptive mother (played by Nicole Kidman), he begins a quest to find his mother. Warning: keep some tissues handy because this one is definitely a tear jerker.
