I have important news to share that will help keep Guideposts magazine vital for years to come.
Starting with the June/July 2021 issue, Guideposts will be published bimonthly, meaning you will receive six issues a year rather than 10. But your magazine will be bigger and better:
- Each issue will be a minimum of 100 pages—some 30 pages more than the current magazine—with no appreciable increase in ad pages, which means more great storytelling.
- Your magazine will be beautifully redesigned and printed on better quality paper, including the cover.
- It will still have the true stories of hope and inspiration that you love to read and share, and we’ll debut exciting features you’ve been asking for: articles on prayer, Scripture, spiritual growth and well-being, devotionals, more uplifting quotes, as well as profiles of positive people who will help you live life with greater hope and optimism.
- Enhanced photography and engaging visual features to lift your spirit.
- Magazine content will be more closely aligned with the guideposts.org website and social media platforms, giving you the opportunity to explore articles and topics in greater depth and meet the amazing people behind the stories.
- Guideposts will continue to be published in the same convenient digest-size format that is easy to carry with you, but it will have a perfect-bound spine instead of staples to accommodate the extra pages and all those new features I know you’ll love. I can’t wait for you to see it.
As a nonprofit, Guideposts has served customers for more than 75 years, and we are committed to serving you for another 75 years, which is why we are making these critical investments in your magazine. They will help sustain and grow the organization you so generously support.
The upheaval of the past year has forced changes in the way we live and work and accelerated the transformation of the magazine business. What is crucial is how we respond to this changing landscape and expand our mission to help make the world better and more hope-filled. Thank you for being our trusted partners in this mission.
Guideposts will always be a magazine you’ll be proud to have in your home and share with others, now more than ever. As good stewards of the organization’s resources, we undertake these important changes to continue our message that anything is possible with faith, hope and prayer.
